Hubapalooza 2023 Race Courses

Good morning racers!  Below you can find Trailforks links to all tracks for next weekend, as well as videos that racers / shops have put together in the past (thanks everyone!), and a quick course description.  Remember to give those content creators a like and subscribe!

As always, courses are not final until 12pm Friday (March 31, 2023) and are subject to change for any reason.  Courses will be clearly marked, and any difficult to ride obstacles will have go-arounds.  Please abide by ALL course directions including those for Pro/Expert Only (during practice as well).

We will start 3 enduro stages at the same time, please stick to the assigned stage that you receive in your email, this is to keep the flow of traffic going smoothly and to reduce bottlenecks as much as possible.  Ride safely!  All practice is unsupported, during race day we will have water at the top of courses but you should be prepared for whatever you may need.

Full face helmet is required for DH practice and race.

ENDURO

Stage 1 – Evil Twin > Wiggler > Yard Sale

Stage one starts off with a few rocky obstacles, and leads into a traverse across the back side of the hill, after the traverse you’ll enter Yard Sale which has some jumps if you’re ready to send it, but everything is rollable incase you aren’t, the bottom section of trail gets fast and in the trees so save your legs for a sprint finish!

Stage 2 – Master Blaster > Canyon Blaster > Scared Cat

Stage two is all about speed, Master Blaster is a trail with a crap load of berms.  Stay focused, look through your corners and bring your legs, this one is going to require you to hang on tight and pedal whenever you get the chance if you want the win.

Stage 3 – Pop Rocks > Hot Gates Area>Myth>Water Wings

UPDATED 3/30/23 1pm

Stage three gets a little technical…

Pop rocks is a trail that requires some speed management, and finesse to keep those tires from pinch flatting, it’s a fun track but you gotta stay on your toes as you come through the Hot Gates.  When you show up for practice on Friday keep your eye out for the finish signs, this track could change through the week leading up to the race!

Stage 4 – Deep Thought

Stage four brings us to our longest and most technical trail all the way through.  A lot of fast sections, but a lot of sections that will require you to control your speed in able to nail down the win!

Save some energy for this one!  It’s a full pull from the top to the bottom of the hill.

VIDEO COMING SOON.

DH1 – 10am track
Trail – Blastoff > Hollywood

Downhill one is a great way to start your morning, we’ll begin with the Blastoff trail from the top and link it up with Hollywood down below.  Blastoff has a couple drops at the top (including a classic huck to flat), and a few small jump sections to keep you on your toes.  Hollywood at the bottom will require you to save some energy so you can clear all the jumps.

Make sure to practice these trails, you want to impress all those spectators as you come through Hollywood!

A full face helmet is required for downhill practice and racing.

DH 2 – 12:30pm track
Trail – Bomber

Downhill two is a little more technical, with some fast sections of trail that lead right into technical rock features.  There are a couple PRO/EXPERT Only parts to DH2, and racers must abide!

A full face helmet is required for downhill practice and racing.
